Yep - APB told me it was official in a personal email.  Can't wait to see (and hear) the beast.  You know my passion has always been V8's!!!

We have been admiring Danny's work for a while, and are very excited that he's agreed to build us this beast.

BTW - We live in the beautiful Hudson Valley/Catskill Mtn area, about 2 hrs north of the big city, where there are loads of twisty-turny roads in which to take this niumble puppy out for a walk

Well, you were close. I am employed by the City, but work and live upstate where the bulk of their water supply is located.

Nice!  My wife used to live near Middletown, NY in a town called Roscoe.  The roads there are very nice indeed.  I can't wait to see what the final product looks like.  I think the balanced v-8 with a few exposed headers should be awesome.  Congrats!

Roscoe = Trout Town USA...best fishing around.  We're in the Kingston/New Paltz area.

Yes. Thanks. This project should be amazing. It certainly is getting alot of attention around here.

So one of the first steps in this build is to mate the SBC to the Audi trans so that fitment in the chasis can be established. I've just ordered the adapter kit, clutch, and starter for our particular combo from Kennedy Engineering Products (KEP). Hopefully, these will be soon on their way to Danny.
