I'm still going to attach them wing stays to the braces however. When you open the..."hood?" the wing will move with the braces and out of the way to service the engine and not have to be re-adjusted!

I was buying some metal the other day and they showed me the laser cutter....man oh man is that thing awesome

OK, Marty's is FAB finished!! and moves on to Lexington for the Shifter, custom exhaust, and fan box as well as a center scoop design I'm working on.
It was going today but mother nature decided to water the state so looks like Tuesday.
After that its off to powder.

My recommendation is to add a few extra tabs just in case the single front radiator is not sufficient.  That way you (or Marty) can easily add a second radiator near the engine to supplement the cooling.  It might work fine, but it would sure make adding an extra radiator much easier if needed.  I can't wait to see what this thing looks like completed!!!

GO POOK!!!

I found some cool split clamps that would work. I was sweating the tabs on the roll bars for the F1 scoop till I found these
Thanks Badermatic! It is fun to step back and breath for a minute....OK that's over time to roll the jig back in and finish the back of Jay's car

It's probably done by now.  I would give Chris a call...  Call him again at around 5 if he says not yet...

We didn't use Chris for this one, too far away and took too long last time.
This guy is 4 minutes from the shop and been in business 20 years...
Paul has used him in the past and said his work is great was but his prices are high...However after he saw the pics of the green car and found out who we used it was like "Game On"!...

We went with the same powder that the engine parts were done in, Cant scratch it unless you try and even that would be hard to do.
Cant wait till she's back

Good deal!  It is good to have local competition for suppliers.  Chris did a nice job, but it did take a bit of time.  Looking forward to seeing the car back for final assembly!

I agree, I'm going to try and find a local to do the FG work as well. Even if its a few bucks more between the gas money and time....
